Farm Friend Friday #1

Hi farm friends, as promised, here is the inaugural Farm Friend Friday Linky party. All you farm loving bloggers can link up here on Friday’s to share posts about your farm: house, cooking, crafting, animals, gardening, photography and more. It will be a great way to meet new farm friends and see lots of different views and perspectives on farm life. We can’t wait to see all the posts shared, so here are the directions:

1. Post your Farm Friend Friday story
2. Copy the link to that post from your url browser
3. Click below on “Click here to enter”
4. Type your name or blog name in the Linky box
5. Paste the url for that post in the Linky box
6. Right click on the Farm Friend Friday button and do “save as” to your computer
7. Upload the picture/button to your post and add the following link: www.verdefarm.com or
8. Just link back to Farm Friend Friday by posting the link
9. This will allow others to come back here to see all the other posts shared

That should just about do it but if you have any issues you can e-mail us at verdefarms@gmail.com. I’m going to re-post something from the past just to get us going. Go visit each of the blogs and share the farm love.

We can’t wait to see your posts so let’s get this party started. Bring on the farm life.

Hi Amy- Just came by to wish you the best on your blog party. I don't have any farm animals anymore, but I know many on here do and this is going to be a great party to do for them. I will enjoy reading all about their farm families!
Hugs- Tete

Love this Amy! I stayed up late getting my post done and then thought I had linked up but it wasn't there when I got up this morning. I finally got it on here though so I'm 'good to go'. I'm looking forward to visiting everyone! Hope your day is a good one. Maura :)

Hubby and I don't own a farm, but I DO board my 5 horses at a ranch up in the mountains. May I participate? I have lots of stories about my goofy horses!!! In 5-7 years when we retire, I want to move to a farm and raise my own vegetables and grow flowers!!! I come from a LONG line of farmers!

Amy, what a great idea! I am looking forward to reading everyone's farm stories. My favorite post of all time is the story of your little broody bantam who adopted the light bulb. Could you please share this story again. Thinking of you from snowy Maine, Julie

I so would love to do this but it will have to wait until we get power again! There is only so much I can do with this IPad -I certainly feel like we are living in the 1800's! Hope to catch up with you soon!

What a fun meme, I just stopped over from Dogs Mom Learning to Blog. I added your party to my list of weekly parties on my side bar. Don't know how often I'll be able to participate since I'm in Philly (far from the farm), but I'll stop back after work to read all about it:@)

Hi Amy,
I found your blog today and added our farm to your Friday list. We're in rural northcentral Pennsylvania where it's cold and snowy today but our chickens are warm and snug in their coop and we're excited about spring!
