Welcome to Verde Farm in Mill Spring, NC. Miniature donkeys, Kunekune pigs, goats, horses, ...oh, and all of our cats and dogs say hello! We jumped into farming a lot like Mr. Douglas and Lisa, we knew nothing. 12 years later we are still learning everyday. Our goal is to create a farm life we love. We will share our journey with you.

Oh Amy you are so kind with your words. Thank you. I love your Mosaic Monday. I love all the pictures of your farm. What a barn. It is so neat to see the guinea on the railing and then see it in a close up. I didn't know you had so many different kind of chickens. Fall I think is worth waiting for.
Have a lovely Monday.

Hey Amy!
All of your animals are just so beautiful! I'm sure there is never a dull moment with all of the different animals with their different personalities around. I've noticed that my dogs are loving this cooler weather also.
Have a Great Day!

Hi Amy,
Looks like a lively and happy group. I know my chickens are much happier that the temperatures have cooled down, too. I felt SO bad for them this past summer because the temps were just miserable and I know my heavy breeds were feeling it the worst.
What a wonderful bunch!
Loving your collage...what a bright and colorful array of farm friends...beautiful!!!
Is that a Jacob's Sheep in the photo below your post?...:) JP

I love the cooler temps too! I'm looking forward to a little rain to cut down the dust and some frosts to cut out the mosquitos. Love the photo montage.
